Abbie

Salon Owner

The Infirmary’s ship is steered by our very talented Salon Owner, Abbie, who has over 20 years of experience in the hair industry.

She began her hairdressing career aged 13 as a Saturday girl at a beauticians and was instantly hooked. Aged 16, she went straight into a hairdressing apprenticeship and never looked back.

Abbie specialises in colour correction, creative colour, and enjoys working with clients who have textured and curly hair. She also really enjoys helping people with fine and thinning hair.

Abbie is an official Framesi UK Ambassador and educator, trained in advanced colour science and techniques. She has been highly commended for her work mentoring apprentices and developing future stylists.

What can a first-time client expect when they sit in your chair?

A warm welcome, a thorough consultation, honest advice, and a realistic plan for their hair goals. I always want clients to feel listened to and confident in what we’re doing together.

Sophie

Senior Stylist

Sophie has been in the hairdressing industry for 7 years. She loves being hands on, creative and connecting with people on a personal level. Hairdressing allows her to combine all of that into a career where she can make people feel good about themselves every single day.

Sophie’s favourite thing about being a hairdresser is the ability to transform how someone feels about themselves. Every client is different, and Sophie loves being able to bring out their personality through a great cut, color, or style. Plus, the industry is always evolving, so there’s always something new to learn, which keeps things exciting for her.

Colouring is Sophie’s passion. She just loves how much you can change or enhance someone’s whole appearance with the right colour. It’s fun, creative, and every head of hair is different. Whether it’s a subtle refresh or a big transformation, she is always amazed to see how much confidence it gives people.

What can a first-time client expect when they sit in your chair?

When a first-time client sits in my chair, they can expect a relaxed, easygoing experience where they feel heard and comfortable. I take the time to really understand what they’re looking for, talk through their hair goals, and make sure it suits their lifestyle and hair type. Whether it’s a subtle change or a full transformation, I always aim to make the process fun, stress-free, and leave them feeling confident and happy with the results.

Britney

Stylist

Britney has been working in the hairdressing industry for 5 years. She began her hairdressing journey when she enrolled in a full-time Level 2 course at college.

Britney was inspired to become a stylist after seeing how much of a difference it could make to someone’s confidence. Watching people leave the salon smiling and feeling good about themselves really made her realise it was what she was meant to do.

Britney enjoys the freedom of working with a variety of clients, treatments and techniques. Every client is different, and she loves the challenge and creativity that comes with adapting to different hair types, textures, and styles.

What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve ever received from a client?

Some of the most rewarding feedback I’ve received from clients includes being told it was the best haircut they’ve ever had, that I’m a ‘miracle worker,’ and that they felt so much more confident after their appointment. Hearing things like that makes everything worth it - knowing I’ve made someone feel truly happy and confident in themselves is the best part of the job.

Ellie

Junior Stylist

Ellie has been working in the hairdressing industry for three years. She discovered her passion for hair while exploring college courses after leaving school. Drawn to the creativity and hands-on nature of the work, she quickly knew it was the right path – and the more she learned, the more inspired she became.

Ellie enjoys working with a wide range of hair types – from fine and straight to thick, curly, and textured. She also has experience with colour work, styling, and restorative treatments. She loves the variety and the opportunity to tailor each service to the individual.

Ellie holds a Level 3 Qualification in hairdressing, which has given her a strong foundation in both technical skills and creative styling. She is always learning and loves keeping updated with the latest trends and techniques.

What can a first time client expect when they sit in your chair?

First-time clients can expect a thorough consultation where I really take the time to understand what they’re looking for. I’ll talk them through the process step by step, so they feel comfortable and confident throughout the service. It’s important to me that every client feels listened to and knows they’re in good hands.

Olivia

Beautician & Stylist

Olivia has worked in the hair and beauty industry for five years. It’s a career she was drawn to from a young age – practising techniques on friends and family as soon as she could. Her inspiration came from watching the transformations her mum experienced during salon visits, and the confidence they brought – sparking a lasting interest in the power of beauty and care.

She loves the creativity the industry offers, especially the opportunity to help clients feel more confident in themselves. For her, the social side of the job is just as rewarding – building genuine relationships with clients and creating a welcoming experience.

Olivia particularly enjoys lash lifts and brow laminations, loving how these subtle treatments can enhance someone’s natural features in such a simple, effective way.

What can a first-time client expect when they sit in your chair?

I always aim to make new clients feel completely at ease - like they’re catching up with a friend, rather than just sitting in a salon chair. Building trust is so important to me. I take the time to listen, understand your goals, and make sure you feel confident in the process from start to finish.

Corran

Self-Employed Stylist

Corran has been in the hair industry for over 15 years. She began her career as an Apprentice for Francesco Group, working with them for 12 years before taking the leap and becoming self-employed.

Corran loves helping people feel their best, and seeing them leave happy – receiving amazing compliments – makes it all worth it.

Corran loves all aspects of hairdressing but cutting is definitely her favourite. She also tends to have a lot of blonde clients that she loves sending from dark to blonde in one sitting and seeing how amazed they are.

What can a first-time client expect when they sit in your chair?

You can look forward to a friendly, professional, and comfortable experience. I'm here to help with any hair concerns you may have, and my goal is to make sure you leave feeling confident and cared for.

Hayley

Self-Employed Stylist

Hayley has worked in the hair industry for over 20 years, and she still loves it just as much as she did on day one – probably even more.

Aged 16, she jumped straight into the industry and began training at the prestigious Francesco Hair Academy, where she spent three years building her skillset.

Hayley enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, but big transformations are where her heart truly lies. Whether it’s a bold colour shift or a brand new cut – that feeling of watching someone walk out of the salon with a spring in their step because of something she created never gets old.

Hayley specialises in hair extensions and is continuously learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques to refine her skills and provide the highest level of service to her clients.

What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve ever received from a client?

It’s always the moments when clients tell me how confident they feel - especially those who’ve had bad experiences elsewhere or have struggled with their hair for years. Knowing I’ve helped them love their hair again is the most rewarding feeling.

Danni

Self-Employed Stylist

Danni has been in the hair industry for over 17 years. She loves being hands-on, learning new skills, and seeing the creative side of the industry come to life.

Danni loves making people feel good about themselves – whether that’s through a full transformation or a simple refresh. She also enjoys giving honest advice to help clients choose styles and colours that truly suit them and are manageable day-to-day.

Colouring is definitely one of her passions. She loves the creativity it allows and how much of a difference it can make to someone’s overall look and confidence. Danni specialises in blonding, especially lived-in colour that looks effortlessly natural and grows out beautifully. She also enjoys working with longer hair and creating big, bouncy blow-dries with lots of volume and movement.

Danni has completed her Level 3 in Hairdressing and continues to stay up to date through advanced training. She’s especially focused on new colouring techniques and approaches that support long-term hair health.

What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve ever received from a client?

One of my favourite moments was when a client told me I’d completely changed how she felt about herself and gave her back her confidence after a tough time. It’s those kinds of comments that remind me why I love what I do.
